Printed in Italy Period: 1953 Authentic Locandina sized (70L x 33W cm) movie poster for Federico Fellini's iconic film "I Vitelloni". Directly translated to "the calves". The film was known as the "Young and the Passionate" in the English speaking countries. Fellini's third film as director & writer, I Vitelloni is frequently regarded as one of his best movies and the first of his classics. The movie's plot focusses on a group of young men living in a small seaside town, who struggle with immaturity and boredom as the excitement of summer passes. They are the Vitelloni, a bunch of layabouts living off the hard work of their parents and doing a whole lot of nothing. The poster is in good condition with a single fold in the middle and some discolouring on the edges.
